Toystory Playblast Study (2021)

For a class assessment, I animated "Walter", a rigged character found here: Character Animation: Dialogue | LinkedIn Learning to Woody's line in Disney's Toy Story (1995), found here:

For this work, I filmed myself acting out the lines so that the character could express frustration convincingly. After analysing the keyframes, I blocked and refined the movements in Maya. I also referenced a mouth movement chart, and animated the lips carefully to sell the illusion Walter was speaking.

This was then rendered as a playblast.
